ERROR404

The idea was to create a conceptual platform based in Egypt that is dedicated to connecting like-minded people together through music. The platform is focused on supporting, showcasing, and promoting our local talents. From there, ERROR404 came to life. The Egyptian music scene has been active for a long time, and in fact, it's been growing. Nonetheless, there hasn't been one platform that would bring together people, musicians, events, bookings, and calendars. The main aim was to create one single entity dedicated to music, driven by the desire of bringing people together to easily connect. The platform tackles all the hurdles we face from actively searching for events, to online bookings, and connecting with musicians and people sharing the same interests. With a focus on electronic music, ERROR404's identity had to be both, bold and edgy. It was necessary to create a contemporary wordmark that would reflect the essence of the genre. Graphical elements, shapes, and typography are all sharp, relating to the rigidity of the music while still the flow found within through the use of space. The chosen duotone color palette leaves space for content and context while being electric.
